WSW Contest Entry: Scarlet Christmas

I spent a great many of hours working on this. Lighting, shadows, perspective stretches, and more, I don't know if this is the most time I've ever spent on a Walfas comic. By now I've pretty much gained a reputation for my editing skills, so I guess I don't want to disappoint, do I? Hopefully this comic either impressed you, made you go "aww" or earned your vote. Any of those is fine for me.

Note: After seeing some initial reactions, I have to ask... Do you think I try a bit too hard? I feel like I tried too hard to win, and my editing skills might take precedence over my story-telling in judging. Some people might be marveled, others will be like "How the hell do I compete against that?!" I'm going on a slight guilt trip here. Is it just me...?
